Little Travelers

Thursday Seth, Gavin and I traveled to Colorado for my Granddaddy's funeral.  9+ hours in the car.  The boys did fantastic!!!!  Gavin can get his own toys, we had lots of food packed (did you know Seth can eat a package and a half of ritz crackers?, or that combined we can demolish a quart of strawberries in about 5 minutes!)  We made 2 stops - at a B. King playland and at a reststop with tepees.  We ate dinner at Aunt Abby's house and had a lot of fun running off energy with our cousins and then drove to the Springs for a visit with Aunt Lindy since she has Friday off.  Gavin only asked if we were there yet once - about an hour out from Denver.  Seth had the funny quote of the day:  "Mommy, can you please STOP driving on the bumpy road!!!!???"  No, kid, it is the only road around.  :o)!  Glad to be here safely and despite the circumstances I am excited to see all my family that we haven't seen for quite a while.
