Big Impact.

If you didn't help with Gavin's water project, but want to help people all around the world...1 Million of them...here is something else you can do:

If we can fund training and tools for these well mechanics we can quickly get 1 million people back in clean water and keep them that way. Please please help if you can. You know that if it was you with no water, or your child dying from parasites you would want someone to help you, even if it was only $5.00. Thanks for considering it. Really. We can do these things.

Seth and my, I mean his, new bike.

We finally found a bike for Seth. We decided to go with a quality used BMX 20" bike that he can ride till he can afford to buy his own bike of his choice. I tried riding it and it is lightweight and manuverable. We are going to have a lot of fun with it for sure. :o)

Bat releasing. Over 200 bats were released tonight. It was pretty cool. My friend Melissa is taking pics with her fam in the background. I don't think she ever saw us, so I tried to make funny faces in the backgrnd of some of her pictures. :o)






This bat flew in a little circle to land on her shoe. You can see him airborne in the second photo right behind her shoes.





These bats seem pretty big in the air, but way less than half an ounce!

Visiting Ohio

I had champion travelers for our trip to OH. Can you say ONE STOP!!! We took a decent break and visited a little museum, got food and fuel. The dog was not into it, and VERY happy to arrive. He did not get sick on the way out.


The next day we discovered we had fireworks under the hood from the spark plugs, and that my rear tires were stripped and ready to blow at any second. God really protected us!


I think we might have worn out my parents!


Papa worked with the boys on a woodworking project.








Mom and I sewes quilting blocks with the craftsy.com free block of the month class. Abby and I are glad mom is getting the quilting bug. I forsee a lot more sewing together in our futures! :o)

Gavin lost his first tooth. I took each boy out on a date before I headed to the beach. Gavin and I got yummy treats from Dorothy Lane Market and Gavin got his own coffee from Carribou (one of the perks of a dairy allergy, you get coffee instead of hot cocoa.)


My treat was sooooo good!


And we got some great cousin time in!
