Baby Boy.
This week we have gotten to have a baby around. Mommy and Daddy are both in classes and the child care center didn't have a spot so we have the joy of hanging out with Larson. He is 8 months old. Laid back and WAY easier than either of my boys were as babies. He is even teething right now and I can hardly tell! My big boys have been LOVING it. They are both such great big brothers. Loving, gentle, helpful, playing with him, watching out for him... We are a lot slower getting things done this week, but it has been really fun! Today I gave them faux-hawks (Seth's hair is still too short!) and took their picture. How great is this!
My allotment of computer time is up as Andrew has to study more and we need to grocery shop. Love from Alabama!
Leadership training.
Part of Andrew's leadership training has been team problem solving activities. We got to go and watch him last week, and this week after they were done they let spouses participate in a few activities. I showed up with the camera, but Andrew was just a spotter for the final activities (and I forgot to take it last week.) Here he is with his group getting instructions. His instructor (in red) is the guy who built the hovercraft (and also a portable margarita maker built out of a weed wacker engine and bicycle handlebars, including horn).
Here we are doing a few activities. Just for the record, we beat our spouses' time on every activity we did. We were a few short, so Andrew helped out on this one. The gal in the flight suit is the spouse of A's squadron commander. She looked a lot more professional than the rest of us on these! :o) It ended up being a lot of fun, and we only had one person fall in.
