Sarah's Quilt Swatches. (Making this in my quilting class.)
Sandi's Mother's Day Project swatches:

Today.

Seth and Gavin's world.My world.

Ruffles pratice.

Corine provided the girl and the trim fabric (zebra print and Mickey Mouse fabric.) The black is a sheet I found in my fabric drawer (compliments of my mom.) I love my new gathering foot for my sewing machine! This dress is not lined, and I made up the pattern, but it should be cool and fun for visiting Disney this summer! (Edit: Took this over and the sleeves look like wings. Oops! It still is cute, just a little funny looking!)

Yup.

Guess it is the word of the day. (See the next posts - I didn't proof them very well while watching NCIS with Andrew.) :o)

Busy Day.

Today Seth had work done at the dentist's office. He now has 2 silver teeth. He was a champ during the whole thing. Then between the dentist and our next errand...Yup. Gavin strikes again. And he colored the window and the fabric on the door.

Then we had the birthday party.
Then I went to my first quilting class. Yay!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Yup, we randomly celebrated Andrew's birthday tonight. He knew that he wanted a travel bag for his golf bag and clubs and was hunting for one online before his next big trip. We decided to preempt him and get the gift for him and plan a little party. (He is gonna be gone for his b-day and fathers day this year.) We had a yummy cake with shark and turtle sprinkles added and birthday candles and balloons and the birthday sign. The boys had a lot of fun picking out the golf bag and planning a surprise for him. Happy birthday, love!

Emergency Phone Call...

...to my mother-in-law last night to find out how to remove an entire tube of Desitin from Gavin's hair. Payback from me letting the boys stay up late while I talked on the phone with my friend.

Yup.

Well, vinegar gets it off the scalp best, and dish soap gets it off the hair best (in case there are any inquiring minds out there.)

And from now on I know that if I hear Seth say again, "Mommy - do you want to look at Gavin? You should take a picture."- well, those words should stike fear into my mommy heart.
