I love how Gavin just adores Seth, and you catch it every so often in his eyes.
The brave Mommy who took the boys out despite the fact that they had written on her walls at home this evening (after specifically going over what was okay and not okay to write on not 5 minutes beforehand.)

Gavin didn't want his picture taken.
But he did find an old half eaten piece of pizza on the ground that he wanted to have:
The fireworks were wonderful. Watching them over the lake reminded me of watching them over Lake Michigan as a kid, and it was calming and peaceful for me - especially after the night we had just had where I sorely missed Daddy and needed him home for a few hours when I had lost ALL my patience. I am learning my boundaries a lot better from him being gone, though. Gavin fell asleep in my arms about halfway through the fireworks show tonight, Seth came home and had a snack before heading to bed. Miss Peggy is coming to see us, but her trip was delayed because she was a hero and stopped and pulled some people from a wreck on the way here (someone was airlifted out, and she helped get two small children from one of the cars that was upsidedown). We are so proud to have a friend like her! And that she can come be with us for her long weekend. I have been busy with a surprise project, so sorry I haven't posted in a while, and will be having lots of company this weekend. I will have to get more pictures up of the boys with their cousins!

Your kids are adorable! I love the pictures. Glad you had a relaxing time watching the fireworks!
Great pics! I love the one with Gavin & beautiful view of the lake. :) And it's fun to see pics of Seth being silly. I can relate to his shyness when he's around all of us family, especially since he doesn't see us much. So I like seeing other parts of his personality in pictures. :)
